Job Type: Full Time

Main duties will centre around the yachts, the customers, and the base. Working hours vary and you MUST be able to cover operational requirements including early and evening shifts as required. The weekend are the busiest days at base and will be working days, days off will be scheduled mid-week.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure clients are provided with a welcome brief and all required information which includes a first night basic yacht brief for late arrivals
  • Anticipate customer complaints and relay to the supervisor
  • Continuously improve and monitor local safety processes to ensure risk assessments and health and safety standards are always adhered to
  • Customer service duties will be required including work behind the front desk, answering phone calls and assisting with any customer queries.
  • Support the operations manager with any other reasonable duties as required.
  • Conduct briefings (yacht briefings and chart briefings) and debriefings to our customers, and ensure all the associated paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensure the yacht is well presented and quality checked prior to the clients boarding, and support with client boarding upon arrival in resorts.
  • Assisting with other assigned duties around the marina as needed.

  • Confident working independently and in a flexible and fast paced role
  • Experience in a customer facing position
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Strong team player, happy to support others
  • Good attention to detail
  • Works to their initiative, willing to learn, and driven to improve the customer experience
  • Experience on boats/yachts, confident around the water

Shifts:

8am to 5pm ,9am to 6pm on the weekend 7am to 4pm
