We are looking to hire a Sales Team Manager to join our global team working with our German-speaking customers! This role is based remotely in the UK.

Founded in 2004 and owned by Travelopia, the world’s leading collection of experiential travel brands, we have fulfilled the travel dreams of thousands of guests worldwide. Our success relies on a passionate, service-driven multicultural team of 160 individuals from 17 nationalities, working across offices in the USA, Germany, India, Costa Rica, South Africa, and Kenya.

As a Sales Team Manager, you will help deliver on the company’s ambitious growth plans. We are on an exciting journey and are pursuing an ongoing sales transformation to build a leading sales force that enables us to achieve our long-term company vision to be the best in our business. You will be responsible for driving sales for a team of up to 6 travel sales specialists.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively manage and support a sales team of up to 6 team members to achieve their sales goals
  • Develop and coach existing team members on sales and analytical skills to enhance their performance
  • Contribute with your own sales towards team targets, demonstrating your B2C sales capability
  • Conduct effective team meetings and sales blitzes to ensure high motivation and knowledge sharing between team members
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices within and across other sales teams.
  • Set goals and priorities for each team member in line with the company goals, track activities and team performance on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

What you’ll bring:

  • A track record of successfully managing a sales team with excellent sales results in a B2C environment
  • Experience using a consultative sales methodology
  • Native German language proficiency
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills
  • Commercially savvy and a sales mentality
  • Ability to motivate people to achieve great results
  • Comfort to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and agility
  • Personal accountability to make things happen and to ensure results
  • Flexibility and resilience, ability to bounce back from setbacks and have a positive approach to life
