Currently, we are looking for Support Engineer I to join our Support team in Argentina, Buenos Aires. Youwill be working from Saturday to Wednesday, from 12 to 20hs.
Main responsibilities:
- Management (reception, analysis, follow-up) and resolution of microcomputer incidents/requirements requested by end users.
- Control and maintenance of inventory of cell phone lines, licenses, etc.
- Installation of basic software, applications and computer equipment (peripherals).
- Generation of infrastructure improvement initiatives. Planning and control of project execution.
What do we expect additionally?
- Develop solid relationships with other areas of Despegar, generating synergies and guaranteeing an excellent work environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions and implement them in such a way as to increase operability and/or optimize costs. Characteristics, knowledge and skills
- Windows, Linux and IOS Operating Systems (Excluding). (Not only installation, but also troubleshooting).
- Scripting, SQL, Linux/Windows Servers (highly desirable). Ideally Python, Powershell and Bash.
- Installation and configuration of workstation feature applications (Microsoft, Adobe, Antivirus, VPN, etc.).
- Initiative and proactivity.
- Willingness to work in a team.
- Service orientation.
- Ability to establish relationships with people from other areas.
- Experience of no less than 3 (three) years in similar positions.
- English and/or Portuguese (Desirable)
