Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions about menu items.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Adapt to changing customer needs and preferences, including knowledge of local coffee culture in Dubai.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista in a high-end café, hotel, or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining various coffee equipment.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
Food safety and hygiene certification (as required by local regulations).
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Barista certification is preferred but not required.
Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for creating exceptional beverage experiences.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Ability to adapt to local coffee preferences and cultural sensitivities in Dubai.
