Job description
Prepare and assemble dishes, taking care of the required presentation and food safety standards, as well as assisting the immediate superior in maintaining the controls of the area.
Prepare the dishes on the menu of the day, based on the demands received, cooking, grilling, baking the food.
Assemble individual plates, buffets, trays, etc. and distribute them to places of consumption. • Suggest changes to menus, based on product availability and consumption history.
Monitor consumption and arrange for food replacement, when necessary. • Perform the activities of the various sectors of the kitchen, such as: butchery, gardemanger, confectionery, pasta and others.
Provide information and clarification to customers about the dishes served, when requested.
Assist the immediate superior in optimizing resources and controlling food costs. • Apply the processes and procedures of the "Self Control" of the area.
Apply good food safety practices relevant to the area.
Collect the food at the end of the services and send it to the appropriate destination.
Guide and coordinate the Kitchen and Restaurant team, together with the superior.
Perform other related duties according to the needs of the area.
