Job Description
An exceptional opportunity to be part of our outlet "El Cielo".
Reporting to the Chef de Partie and the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen of the assigned point of sale functions effectively to produce the highest quality product for our most demanding customers.
Consistently offer professional, warm and proactive service to customers, while supporting other colleagues.
Assist in the preparation and service of all meal options for a la carte menus in accordance with hotel recipes and standards.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment. Knowledge of HACCP standards and their practical application.
Review and control the material used in the kitchen, reporting any incident in this regard, as well as reporting maintenance incidents.
Inform the chef de partie or the Sous Chef of excess/lack of goods for daily use, as well as control and take care of the conservation and use of the products made available to them.
Preparation of the dishes according to recipes, quality standards and presentation of the hotel, avoiding waste.
Know in depth the entire menu, daily offers and promotions.
Requirements
Have previous experience in the Culinary field
Have a Diploma \ Certification in a Culinary discipline (will be valued)
Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Be highly responsible and reliable.
Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Have the ability to focus your attention on the needs of the guest, always remaining calm and courteous.
Languages: Spanish, English is a plus.
Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar position, experience in hotels of similar category or restaurants will be valued
