We are looking to hire a Group Procurement Supervisor (based in Barcelona, Spain) to join our team! Reporting to Senior Group Operations Manager, this role involves strategically sourcing and acquiring group services, managing supplier relationships, ensuring internal data is accurate, and managing a small team of Group Procurement Specialists.
This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working a hybrid pattern 1-2 days per week in our central Barcelona office.

What you’ll do:
- Oversee quote turnaround time for group hotel contracting and specific service requests
- Support group sales team with ad hoc quotes for custom services and activities
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate ad hoc group requests with hotels all over Europe to secure the best rates within given budgets
- Supervise quality control of hotels and service suppliers; define and implement review timelines
- Source and procure travel services (e.g. transport, guides, restaurants, unique experiences)
- Ensure risk management, policy compliance, and support internal teams effectively
- Vendor Management: Actively grow vendor portfolio in major European destinations, build and maintain positive relationships with hotel representatives and other travel vendors, manage vendor contracts, insurance, and compliance documentation. Partner with vendors to negotiate or renew agreements as needed
- Data Management: Streamline and manage group data entry processes, coordinate and assign group rate updates and loading, enter and maintain accurate contract and supplier data in Softrip and support data cleansing for improved accuracy
- Team Management: Lead a small team of Group Procurement Specialists and manage the day to day running of Procurement activities, evaluate and monitor employee performance, mentor employees and onboard new team members
What you’ll bring:
- Prior experience in a hotel contracting role or product/procurement role within the tourism industry
- Proven team lead or supervisory experience
- Strong vendor relationship and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Capability to leverage creativity in developing and recommending new service ideas
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, and time management under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with tour operator systems is a plus
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of both independent and teamwork
- Able to train, motivate, and evaluate team performance effectively
