Overview

Main duties will centre around the yachts, the customers, and the base. Working hours vary and you MUST be able to cover operational requirements including early and evening shifts as the need arises. The weekends are the busiest days at base and will be working days, days off will be scheduled mid-week.

Our exterior yacht cleaning teams play a vital role in our business as they are a key driver in providing that “wow” factor when customers first step on board their vessel. Deliver outstanding cleaning to maintain the yachts' appearance for a phenomenal first impression.

What you will be doing

Performing a thorough cleaning of the yacht, from the bridge deck to the engine bays, including a rinse, soap wash, and chamois dry, followed by detailed finishing and polishing throughout.

Ensuring yachts are maintained to the highest standards set by the company, including:

Daily scrubbing of the yacht’s exterior.

Cleaning shower curtains, rails, exterior cushions, and bilges.

Thorough cleaning and detailing of all lockers (gas, anchor, and water), including interior surfaces, rims, and outer edges.

Detailing the helm station, including winch handle pockets, cup holders, and dorades.

Buffing the yacht’s exterior to maintain a polished, professional finish.

Cleaning all rubbing strakes and making sure all exhaust outlets are spotless.

Reporting any defects noticed whilst cleaning to the technical manager.

Applying chemicals safely and with efficiency in mind.

Suggesting improvements to cleaning techniques.

Any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager, including supporting other departments, and cleaning other areas.
