Account/Department: Amazon M&E
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for all program operations in relation to the assigned team,
providing personnel and service levels equal to or greater than minimum operating standards within the
budget. In addition, they are responsible for motivating and providing support to the program's operations team,
as well as overseeing the planning and execution of successful incentive/meeting programs and
while maintaining a high level of customer service to program participants and the customer. This
position is a "job" position where the Supervisor will also support staff by managing programs
assigned throughout the year, as staffing schedule permits and Supervisor workload
allow.

Leadership support
· Effectively supervise direct reports by providing training and development of
skills based on job function.
· Provide career plan planning with each direct report. Develop best practices,
Benchmarking, implementations and training to assist in the challenge and development of the team.
· Implement, train, and measure BCD's standard M&E operating procedures for all members
of the team. Update SOPs as needed and communicate changes to procedures to staff.
· Development and implementation of customer-specific SOP as required.
· Make sure all team members have the necessary equipment to perform
(computer, telecommunications, etc.)
· Oversee the program's staffing schedule.
· Continuously monitor team alignment and organization to ensure the highest levels of
customer service, efficiency and productivity.
· Interact with BCD M&E's Business Development team as needed to deliver
leadership and proactively solve operational problems.
· Oversee and pre-approve all travel requests and time-off requests and maintain the calendar.
· Attend weekly meetings with the Director and management team.
· Attend monthly BCD M&A management meetings, providing team updates.
· Participate in annual and semi-annual performance reviews, which are conducted by the Director of Operations of the
Group. Establish plans with individuals to ensure maximized performance against goals. · Act as a liaison between the team and the Director of Operations for communications and account announcements. · Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees. · Schedule and hold regular team meetings and one-on-one meetings. · Working independently in the absence of supervision · Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically described herein as requested
Customer Service
· Monitor service issues and customer issue resolution through direct contact through
through problem solving and follow up with the customer as needed.
· Interact with customers and clients as needed. This interaction may include following up on a
new meeting request for accounts without BCD M&E Business Development support,
troubleshooting, program debriefs, proactive verification of service level support provided to
this customer by the Express Team.
Budget accuracy
· Pre-approve all check requests, invoice requests, wire transfer requests
before sending the team to the Group Operations Director.
· Approval of all customer quotes prior to presentation to the customer.
· Approve the final invoicing before presentation to the customer.
· Report monthly on program spending, savings, and profitability.
Supplier Relations
· Approve and sign all hotel and vendor contracts.
· Monitor preferred vendor usage and hold staff accountable for adherence to relationships with
preferred suppliers. Ensure that staff enter vendor spend accurately and
On-time in meeting technology. Reporting to the Director on a monthly basis.
· Approve all program specifications and service contracts prior to submission to suppliers.
· Record Letters of Agreement for all programs that operate through staffing. Address items that are
outside the scope of the agreed terms.
Project Management
· The Supervisor will effectively manage the assigned programs throughout the year as determined
the necessary personnel/planning support and the Supervisor's workload.
