Join Expedia Group as the Senior Director of Product Management for Package Offerings at Brand Expedia. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in revolutionizing how travelers plan and book their entire trips, reporting directly to the VP of Product for Brand Expedia. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll be responsible for shaping the end-to-end experience for one of the most trusted brands in global travel.
Your mission will be to create and optimize comprehensive travel packages that seamlessly combine flights, accommodations, car rentals, activities, and cruises. You'll spearhead our efforts to deliver unparalleled value and convenience to travelers, enabling them to book their entire trip in one transaction. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, data-driven insights, and a deep understanding of customer needs, you'll drive innovation that sets Brand Expedia apart in the competitive travel landscape.

You'll lead a talented team of product managers, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, design, user research, marketing, and business strategy. In this role, you will:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Formulate and execute a compelling long-term vision for Brand Expedia's packaged offerings, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, activities, and cruises.
- Whole Trip Focus: Lead the team responsible for creating and optimizing end-to-end travel experiences, with a particular emphasis on packages that allow travelers to book all their needs in one transaction.
- Product Execution: Ensure that work prioritization is aligned with the long-term future vision of EG's business goals. Drive continuous improvement in EG's approach to delivery, seeking opportunities to improve both quality and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with engineering, design, user research, brand/business, and marketing teams to drive innovation and execution across the entire product lifecycle.
- Business Acumen: In partnership with the Brand Expedia Business Team, monitor profitability across the portfolio of package products and drive decision-making that supports EG's long-term viability. Use deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior to influence EG's strategic direction and priority.
- Market Alignment: Leverage understanding of market potential, customer demand, and strategic importance across product lines to influence organizational decision-making. Provide leadership on how company-wide marketing strategies and brand considerations apply to product positioning holistically at EG.
- User Experience Optimization: Ensure exceptional, easy-to-use experiences for each core product element (cars, activities, cruise), continuously enhancing the customer journey. Drive initiatives to ensure our products are accessible and inclusive, catering to travelers of all abilities and backgrounds and meeting the needs of growing trends that are important to our travelers such as eco-friendly options and responsible tourism.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with core platform experience teams to drive post-booking recommendations and add-ons that maximize value for travelers.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop data-driven product strategies and innovations to improve EG's data maturity for decision-making. Establish innovative uses of data analysis and new ways of thinking about incorporating analytics into end-to-end development. Ensure that our product teams are partnering to create hyper-personalized travel experiences and tailoring package recommendations to individual traveler preferences and behavior.
- Global Product Management: Oversee product development and strategy on a global scale, adapting to diverse market needs and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop high-performing cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. Manage resourcing budgets to ensure alignment to organizational goals. Align talent to business needs; act as a magnet for high-level talent. Build systems that encourage talent to grow in the organization and contribute to succession planning.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 16+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth in mature categories
- Demonstrated ability to set and align long-term vision for a portfolio of products
- Deep understanding of AI/ML applications in product development and strategy
- Strong business acumen with experience in financial modeling and driving profitability across product lines
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams and seniority levels
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Experience in travel, e-commerce, or related consumer-facing digital products
- Superior communication skills, including the ability to present to and influence executive audiences
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $296,000.00 to $414,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $473,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
