As a Skipper with Intrepid, you’ll be at the helm of our sailing adventures, navigating stunning waters and creating unforgettable experiences for our travellers. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on board while delivering incredible journeys. You’ll captain one of Intrepid’s chartered sailing boats (18m), guiding it safely through a pre-determined itinerary, and enriching every step of the voyage with your expertise and enthusiasm. We’re currently recruiting for skippers in Italy, Greece, and Croatia.

Your extensive knowledge of navigation, weather patterns, and maritime laws will help you make informed decisions to ensure smooth sailing. You’ll also take pride in keeping the vessel well-maintained, clean, and fully supplied. Beyond the technical side, you’ll be a warm and welcoming presence, fostering a collaborative and fun atmosphere that helps travellers fall in love with the journey.

To become a Skipper with Intrepid you’ll need: 

• A valid Skipper License. 

• 2+ years of professional sailing experience. 

• Strong navigational skills and mechanical aptitude. 

• Fluency in English; other language skills are a bonus. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
