FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | SWISSÔTEL Mariánské Lázne

Swissôtel Mariánské Lázne brings to the Czech Republic a cutting-edge hotel concept that combines Swiss precision with exceptional hospitality. We are proud that our hotel is the first and only one in the Czech Republic under the prestigious Swissôtel brand and we are looking for a strategically minded and experienced financial controller who can manage the numbers with clarity and influence the direction of the entire hotel.

We are opening a premium hotel with 125 rooms and suites in Mariánské Lázne, which will include the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our Swiss Café and the rooftop bar "under the clouds" Lifestyle. The hotel will also offer three conference rooms and a meeting room. The highlight of the hotel will be the Pürovel Spa & Sport, which combines Swiss precision with the spa tradition of Mariánské Lázne.

Your key responsibilities:

Comprehensive financial management of the hotel – responsibility for the management of the accounting and purchasing departments and supervision of the IT agenda. The role includes the design and implementation of effective financial and operational controls across all departments of the hotel.
Budgeting, forecasting and reporting – preparation of annual budget, monthly forecasts and financial statements as a basis for strategic and operational decision-making.
Strategic financial analysis – providing accurate data and recommendations to support key decisions of the hotel management and the international group.
Control costs and increase efficiency – systematically monitor cost structures and identify opportunities to optimize operational performance across departments.
Ensuring compliance with standards and legislation – strict adherence to USALI principles, Accor internal regulations, and applicable legislation.
Cash flow management and crisis planning – active liquidity management and creation of scenarios to manage unexpected situations and minimize risks.

Qualification

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidate:

You have at least 5 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting – ideally in the hotel environment.
You can lead a team, set up processes and support other departments in their economic thinking.
You communicate in English on a professional level – internal communication is in English.
Knowledge of hotel financial standards (USALI) and experience in the environment of an international network or premium hotel is an advantage.
