About the position

Our base teams play a vital role in delivering fantastic holidays and are the reason many of our clients return year after year. Our Operations Staff ensure that our base runs smoothly by making our fleet of boats shine and ready for departure. In addition, they provide various extra products that our customers book. This is a fun and dynamic position in which customer focus and practical and organizational skills are essential.

What you will do

• Exterior cleaning of boats
• Maintaining and preparing extras booked by customers, such as bicycles, cushions and barbecues
• Supporting the technical team on busy departure days, including refilling fuel, checking ropes and filling water tanks
• Assisting with pre- and post-season preparation work to get the boats ready for use or winter maintenance
• Participate in boat renovation projects when needed
• Assisting customers (e.g. loading and unloading luggage) to provide them with the best possible holiday experience
• Supporting colleagues in other departments if necessary, so that customer satisfaction always remains paramount

What we are looking for

• You are passionate about providing excellent customer service
• You work accurately and systematically
• You have an eye for detail and can manage multiple tasks at the same time
• You are well organized and can deal with different priorities
• You communicate clearly and in a timely manner with colleagues, head office and customers
• You work well in a team, but can also work independently
• You are fluent in Dutch or English – additional languages such as French or German are a plus
• Technical or mechanical experience is an advantage
• You are a good swimmer (due to work near water) – plus
• You live within reasonable travel distance (Utrecht or South Amsterdam region)
• You are fully entitled to work in the Netherlands
