Located on the heights of Namur, our modern and recently expanded ibis Styles hotel (2024) is part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment.

Opened in 2021, the establishment continues to develop and stand out, to the point of being now in the top 5 of the best rated hotels (of the Accor group) in the Benelux in terms of customer satisfaction.

With its 200 rooms, its adjoining event centre, a mixed clientele (international tourists, business travellers, visitors to trade fairs and exhibitions), and its belonging to the Accor group, while being managed by a Namur-based SME active in several sectors, it offers a rich, human and stimulating working environment, where there is never a dull moment.


Job description

The first impression is always the right one

As an employee at the hotel reception, you are at the heart of the guest experience. From their arrival to their departure, you ensure that they have a fluid, warm and unforgettable stay.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception :

Welcoming guests arriving at the reception with friendliness and professionalism
Ensure check-in and check-out in a spirit of efficiency and conviviality
Responding to requests with a smile and offering additional services adapted to each guest's stay
Enhancing the value of the establishment and its facilities
Receive telephone calls related to reservation requests, adaptations, information,...
Administrative follow-up:

Establish the invoicing adapted to the situation of each customer
Handle emails: enquiries, individual and group bookings,...
Collaborate with other internal departments: housekeeping, event, catering,...
Participation in the life of the lobby:

Provide service at the adjoining bar (drinks, snacks), in support of the bartender, according to peaks of activity
Maintain a clean, warm and welcoming lobby (clearance, rearrangement, atmosphere)

Qualifications

The PROFILE we are looking for:

Experience & efficiency

Experience in a similar position desired

Knowledge of OPERA software is an asset!

Responsiveness, autonomy and solution-orientation

Mastery of the Accor group's standards is a plus

Multilingual communication

Fluent
French Fluency in English essential
Any other language is an asset

Goût du relationnel clients

Sourire, esprit positif, et dynamique
Chaleureux et proactif dans le contact client

Flexibilité et adaptation

Capacité à jongler avec les demandes d'une clientèle variée (touristes, pro's, groups internationaux,...)

Capacité à travailler en horaire à shifts, comprenant les W-E et jours fériés

Sens de l’organisation

Rigueur et structure
