About the location:

Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is ideally located in the heart of the commercial district of Futian, across the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center and a short walk from the Civic Center which houses the city’s Municipal Hall and Museum as well as near the famed Shenzhen Concert Hall and Library. The Hotel is surrounded by 3 modern shopping malls and is a few steps away from the subway metro station and 10-minute drive to 2 Hong Kong borders of Huanggang and Futian. Built along contemporary lines, the Hotel features 266 rooms inclusive of 32 suites, a Club Lounge, Business Centre, 4 food and beverage outlets, and a grand ballroom with 5 other function venues plus a unique outdoor multilevel Terraces.
About the role

Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing Hotel RevPar as outlined in budget and ensuring hotel is among top position of RevPar leadership among competitive set.

What you will do

The ability to control rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The ability to work with the Sales and Catering/ Conference Service Department in allocating group rooms and rates including tracing, cut off dates etc. for tighter room inventory control.

The ability to prepare and distribute accurate occupancy and revenue forecasts and keep all department heads well informed of and unexpected changes in levels of business.

The ability to distribute information to ensure all Reservations Sales and Catering, FO staff are familiar with all guest rooms, hotel facilities, services, hours of operation, special activities, functions in the hotel to ensure staff to sell / upsell effectively.

The ability to develop and implement strategy/enhancements pertaining to the yield management and reservations function and prepare rooms revenue budget recommendation to the CD/GM.

The ability to lead the Forecast and Yield Management internal meetings and support the Sales group meetings and their daily rate requirements.

The ability to manage, produce, monitor monthly/weekly reports as required by FS revenue and by DOM/DOS Rate Strategy Tiers, Transient/NCR Demand/Turn away, Booking Pace by Segment, Segment Ceilings, Full House Days Analysis, Group Displacement, Arrival Patterns, Incentive Results, Phase Report/GDS Review, Rate Resistance Report, CRO Test Calls, Suite Inventory and Month End Results.

The ability to compile and publish a monthly analysis/report summarizing the month’s reservation activity and to survey monthly competitive rates(STR, shop, website) with accurate recommendations on any field and pricing room strategies taking into consideration external factors (exhibitions, economy).

The ability to establish relationships with OTA’s in order to optimize booking. And create OTA promotion to increase bookings over low period. Also build network with other Reservation Managers in the city as well as in Four Seasons.

The ability to drive the implementation and development of FO/ RES upsell programs in conjunction with Rezpro training.

The ability to ensure reservation department is in compliance with all FS standard (i.e. test calls, drop calls, guest history suspended profiles etc.)

Implementation of marketing related programs (i.e. preferred parent, Amex Platinum etc.)

What you bring

College degree or certification in hotel or related field.

Excellent verbal skills in English and mandarin, proficiency in another language helpful.

Two years minimum previous experience as reservation / revenue manager at least two years in current job.

Previous experience FOM or Sales & Marketing in a luxury hotel an advantage.

Good organization, time management and leadership skills.

The ability to display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealings with guests and employees.
