Job Description
Assessing company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives
Identifying and arranging suitable training solutions for employees
Conducting performance evaluations and assessments
Creating and implementing a strategic plan to meet the learning and development needs of the organization
Directing the design, development, and delivery of training programs and materials
Managing the budgets for training and development activities
Overseeing the creation of educational materials such as online learning modules, workshop materials, and instructional videos
Collaborating with various managers and executives to understand and implement training goals
Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and instructors, and making improvements as necessary
Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development
Qualifications
Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar role
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
Experience in project management and budgeting
Proficiency in key metrics and reporting
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
Additional Information
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
additional languages are a plus
