Job Title: Bellman / Bagagiste - Amanjena

Location Overview

Role

The Bellman welcomes arriving guests, handles and delivers luggage, escorts guests to their rooms while explaining resort facilities and services, coordinates basic guest requests with the Front Office or Concierge, and ensures smooth arrival and departure experiences aligned with high service standards.


Responsibilities

  • To welcome, inform and assist guests
  • To be always present at the main door
  • Monitor the hotel entrance to ensure the cleanliness of the premises
  • Check arrival and departure transfers
  • Participate in the daily FO meeting organized by the superior to collect the day's list of visits and appointments and identify guests arriving at the hotel
  • Greet hotel guests and externals warmly and open the car doors as they get in or out of the car
  • Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and transportation options
  • Handle special requests, such as calling taxis or arranging VIP arrivals
  • Ensure parking operations and careful handling of guest vehicles
  • Maintain an efficient guest’s luggage handling process on arrival and departure, and during relocation
  • Deliver luggage promptly to the rooms
  • Put luggage in the appropriate room’s dressing
  • Confirm the number of pieces with the guest
  • Coordinate with the various departments in relation to the guest's needs (restaurant, bar...)
  • Check the cleanliness of the cars, and the set up inside the cars (bottles of water, air conditioning ,..)
  • Check the room when guests leave, to ensure that no luggage has been forgotten
  • Fill in the luggage register when handing over and collecting guests' belongings and luggage.
  • Monitor events during the guest's stay and communicate them to the FOM & RDM at the instant
  • Be in constant contact with all departments to keep up to date on information (Rooms visits, activities in the various outlets, activities outside the property, etc.)
  • Work closely with the front desk and security teams
  • Pass on instructions and hand over necessary documents to the next shift colleague
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security for guest information
  • Carry out all tasks assigned by the manager, within the scope of his professional category and according to his skills


Requirements

  • High school diploma or hospitality training
  • Good communication skills in English and French
  • Professional grooming and strong customer-service attitude
