We are looking for a young, dynamic person to join our team! If you have a “can-do” attitude, excellent command of English (both verbal and written), ability to work under pressure and take on new learning opportunities and want the opportunity to get a start in the travel industry, then this position is for you.

KEY OUTPUTS:

  • Administrating of Senior Consultants files
  • Admin and provisional maintenance
  • Attention to detail on file details like dietaries and loading of movements and reconfirmations of files.
  • Ensuring lead times for responses are met according to standard operating practices
  • A good understanding of specific requirements for Groups itineraries including general groups policies
  • Handling of individual bookings from quote to finalising, including invoicing and travel documents
  • May from time to time be required to travel with a group or undertake site inspections with agents/guests
  • Payments and payment collections

Communication and Values

  • Constant, consistent and clear communication daily with reservations team and suppliers
  • Upholding the values of &Beyond ... Care of the people, Care of land and Care of the wildlife

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Good understanding of delivering excellent service to agents/guests
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Some understanding of a reservation’s environment is advantageous
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Basic Level Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Tourplan or any other reservations system advantageous

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Communication skills and an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Time & desk management including working in an orderly focused manner
  • The ability to work under pressure and show initiative
  • Understanding of travel industry and preferably Tour Operating specifically
  • Elaborating in writing explanations or descriptions
  • Exceptionally customer focused 
  • Negotiation skills
  • Must be computer literate and have an in-depth knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Calm and professional manner of servicing agents/guests
  • An independent, curious and “can do it” nature

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Tourism/Travel-Related Qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) preferable
  • 1- 2 years administration experience preferable

  • Sense of urgency and adherence to deadlines
  • Passionate about guest delight
  • Diligence and self-motivation
  • Be able to Travel from time to time
