Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Assistant Chief Engineer to support the efficient and professional operation of all resort maintenance activities. In this critical leadership role, guest comfort and safety will always be your top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the daily operations of the Engineering Department to ensure the smooth functioning of all hotel facilities.
Ensure the proper maintenance, operation, and compliance of all fire and life safety systems and equipment.
Supervise and implement all preventive maintenance programs, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
Support the planning and execution of renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
Collaborate with the Chief Engineer in preparing and managing the Engineering Department budget, including forecasting expenses and cost control.
Contribute technical expertise to the hotel’s strategic and operational planning processes.
Monitor energy consumption across the property and initiate sustainability and energy-saving initiatives to reduce the resort’s environmental footprint.
Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and service excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within engineering or maintenance, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.

Strong understanding of engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, energy management, and safety & compliance standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate, train, and develop a technical team.
