Job Title: Junior Manager- Camp Operations

Job Description

Role Overview:

The Junior Manager - Camp Operations will be responsible for assisting the Camp Operations Manager in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the camp operations. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional customer service to guests and their families.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a structured training program that covers all aspects of the camps operations and processes.
  • Gain a deep understanding of various functional areas in camp operations.
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily activities.
  • Assist camp managers in day-to-day operations, including project coordination, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced managers to gain valuable insights into effective leadership and management techniques.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Continuously update and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude throughout the training program.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in Tourism & Hospitality Industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency protocols, and risk management procedures.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt and work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain these certifications.
