Job Description
To prepare all breakfast bakeries/pastries fresh daily for Banquets, ARC Restaurant and In-Room Dining
Order and organize breads, rolls, and related baking items for Banquets, ARC Restaurant and In-Room Dining
Assist in the Banquet Kitchen as and when needed
Ensuring high quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation as per Fairmont brand standards
Responding positively and in a timely manner to all internal and external guest requests
Responsible for a clean workstation and the minimization of wastage
Completion of all tasks as assigned
To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a baker/pastry cook
BC Food Safe Certification required
Red Seal Certification preferred
Flexibility with shifts and ability to work the overnight shift
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
High standards of cleanliness required
Reliable, accountable, organized
Ability to exceed guests’ expectations
