Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, they will drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction and team performance, while upholding Aman’s dedication to providing a level of service and experience that is peerless in every way.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and commercial awareness, as well as a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations within the Indian market and in remote destinations. Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure personalized guest experiences where every detail matters.
Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to drive occupancy, ADR and profitability.
Be the key point of contact for guests, resolving any concerns and ensuring an exceptional level of satisfaction.
Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures in line with Aman standards and values.
Lead, coach and develop department heads and teams to foster a culture of excellence and engagement.
Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality, safety and service consistency.
Nurture a culture of teamwork, ownership and refined service throughout the resort.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Represent Amanbagh with professionalism, discretion and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including at least 5 years in a senior operational role.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and manage budgets effectively.
Fluency in English and Hindi, knowledge of any additional languages is an asset; with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven background in Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.
Deep understanding of Indian culture and service standards.
Demonstrated leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on management style with impeccable attention to detail.
Proficiency in hotel management systems such as Opera PMS or similar.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
