Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales to lead our sales operations in Udaipur, India. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive organizational revenue growth, develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, and build and mentor a high-performing sales team. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be instrumental in expanding market presence, fostering strong client relationships, and positioning our organization for sustainable success in a competitive marketplace.

Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies that identify market opportunities, analyze industry trends, and drive sustainable revenue growth and business expansion across all market segments
Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing sales team by providing coaching on negotiation, communication, and closing techniques; conduct regular performance reviews and foster a supportive, inclusive work environment
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders; prepare detailed market segment action plans and handle complex sales inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Manage sales contracts, proposals, and agreements; ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Analyze market data, competitor activity, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for differentiation, innovation, and competitive advantage in service offerings
Set, monitor, and achieve revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs); prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and comprehensive performance reports for senior management
Oversee budget management and P&L responsibility for the sales division; allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment and operational efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer satisfaction
Build and scale sales operations infrastructure, including systems, processes, and tools; implement CRM solutions and sales management programs to enhance team productivity
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies; identify and champion innovative approaches to sales and business development
Provide transparent feedback and coaching to team members; develop talent pipelines and create career advancement opportunities within the sales organization

Qualifications

**Required Skills & Experience:**

Minimum 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in a director-level or equivalent senior sales management role
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market expansion
Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, recruitment, training, performance management, and talent development
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and financial acumen
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels
Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales management tools
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and strategic initiatives
Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to make decisive decisions
Experience with P&L management, budget allocation, and resource optimization
Proven ability to mentor, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Certification in sales management, leadership development, or executive coaching
Experience in luxury, high-end, or premium market segments
Familiarity with Udaipur's business landscape and regional market dynamics
Experience building and scaling sales operations from the ground up
Knowledge of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) or hospitality industry operations
**Domain Expertise:**

Strategic business planning and execution in competitive markets
Market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering
Vendor and partnership management within sales ecosystems
Understanding of customer relationship management and client retention strategies
Expertise in sales process optimization and operational efficiency
